Topic: Wenatchee Play Discussion Thread Posted: 29 May 2008 at 9:42pm |
This is the Wenatchee Play discussion thread. Please post any questions below. Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Wenatchee Play | Trip Page Planning to head to Leavenworth to boat the Wenatchee, Peshastin, and possibly the lower Icicle... Wanted to warm up on Saturday on a play run, and am curious who else is interested.

I might head over there but I don't really want to make any plans. I think I am going to leave this weekend open booked so I can free flow it ya know!

So does anyone want to carpool for both days. You may have noticed that gas got expensive...

If you end up on an Ingalls / Peshatin run, make sure you check out the tree across the river about 200 yards downstream from the Ingalls creek putin. It's river wide, very scary, and no eddies upstream to catch. Basically, you have to put in below this tree.
When our group ran it at the PP Ball, we were very lucky that Ty stopped us from putting on at the normal Ingalls putin. He also posted an alert on the rivers page. Thanks Ty.

Are you still planning on leaving this afternoon. I was heading out yesterday but got screwed with work and now leaving today. I'm very down to save some fuel bucks.
Give me a call to sort out any details.

The truck will be departing the eastside around 8p tonight, in case anyone else wants to ride.
