This is the PBR weekend discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the PBR weekend | Trip Page

Heading to the PBR, but gonna stop and run the Lochsa on the way. I am pretty sure Leif, is heading over, so there is plenty of carpool potential.

I am planning on heading out Thursady evening, making a couple runs on the Lochsa, Friday. Heading to Boise on Saturday. Payette on Sunday.
If I can swing it, I want to stay over for Monday, adn run a few others.

This should be a great event.  A good friend of mine is putting it on, and knows how to throw a good party.

Check out the website at http://www.pbrkayakevent.com

There is a nighttime disco rodeo, downriver marathon race on the Canyon Section of the South Fork Payette (an incredible run) and an extreme race on the North Fork (bring your face mask -those rocks are sharp!).There isalso some sort of Rafter cross race. It should be a great time!

We need to figure out carpool arrangements - I can fit 3 additional playboats + passengers in king chili, though I won't have the rack by then (else I could fit more).

Let me know...

I just got this email about the event and thought I would pass it on!

ATTENTION!!!

The PBR Whitewater Revival Event is 2 weeks away!!

Competitors please register ASAP on-line at www.pbrkayakevent.com

∙Registration at the event does not allow for proper planning. Please
do not wait to register at the event. Register ASAP!!! Additional fees
may
be assessed to on-site registration.

Spectators, Volunteers and Other Participants please respond to this
e-mail
indicating how many people are coming!!

I need to have a good count of people for camping, the BBQ and
Logistics
Coordination. Knowing how many people are coming makes it much easier
to
plan and coordinate. And it alleviates my stress!!
Questions?

OK people, who else is coming??? Leif has more seats in King Chili, and would love to fill them.
The plan is to leave Thursday evening, and drive to Three River Resort, A few rafts are going down on Friday and I am sure we can fit a few more in them.
If you havent done the Lochsa its like the Wenatchee on crack  !!!  in a good way.
From there the plans are somewhat loose, Payette on Saturday,? Boise on Sunday.
I dont have a huge desire to hang at the PBR the whole time, there are alot of great runs in the area this time of year and keeping busy isnt going to be an issue.

There is a good possibility Zach is going to make an appearance on hte river!!!  About time!
Lets get a few others in on this, its gonna be a great trip!!
