   Topic: The Return of Movie Night

Hey PPers!
Cascade PaddleSports is pleased to present the return of movie night!
Next Wednesday, November 13th at 7pm (doors at 6:45, movie starts at 7:15), we will be showing The Evergreen Project and the Northwest Video Scrapbook #7. We may even throw in some Chelanigans for good measure. Admission is free.
Since we'll be showcasing the local goods, we'll be offering a 15% discount on our local goods (that night only, purchase before or after movie). This includes Werner Paddles, Snap Dragon spray skirts, and Seal Line dry bags.
Some snacks will be provided, and feel free to BYOB.

Also, we want to let you know that we will be sharing information on the proposed hydro project on the Skykomish before we start the movies.

Thanks for posting! Glad you guys are bringing back movie night! Hopefully we'll see a good community turnout there this evening.

Hey CascadePS-
Thank you for hosting movie nite last week! Great to see some familiar faces and meet a few new ones.
I really want to thank you for providing us with some udates regarding the Proposal to Dam The Skykomish River at Sunset Falls
There are a few deadlines coming up, some more letters to write, and the opportunity to physically show up to comment on the proposal. Yeah I gotta get up early to go paddle tomorrow for sure. That's why real quick I want to remind myself and everyone to keep this matter in the forefronts of our minds this weekend. I'm gonna post a thread or revive one of the ones already created regarding the dam, but here are some deadlines approaching in the next few days:
1:30 PM Nov. 19, Dec. 2, & Dec.17
SnoPUD Commissioners meeting- make comments
Nov.20
Deadline for comments sent to NPCC.
Dec. 1
Deadline for comments sent to FERC
Submit a letter to the Editor of the Everett Herald
Encourage your family freinds and co workers to do the same.
I'm going to make sure this info gets bumped the the top of the thread pile, but for now, this is what's key:

Talk about this issue while you are out
Come back an write one of those letters. If you already have, send in an editorial. Seriously we gotta GALVANIZE
