Yeah either would be fun. 750 is a little low for the upper huh?

Don't underestimate the dam operators, hey've been lowering the elevation and we're expected to get a bunch of rain. The graph has the inflow and elevation rising quickly at the moment, so they might open 'er up a little.
Either way, I'm down for a full trip, or either the U or L depending on flows/time/what people want to get out of it.
I agree, if they increase flow at all (well, a few hundo cfs), Upper is damn near mandatory!
Not opposed to the lower at 750 as the U can be a bit rocky, and hence my openness to a full Gorge run.
I dunno, count me in for something on the Green, though.

Or we could run the upper and lower sauk. That could be fun and not too scrappy.

10 am ready to leave I for a full gorge run. That leaves time for a stop or two to stretch or whatever, and barring any difficulties, plenty of light to not get locked @ FG.
These days of the year are short, and at lower water for the Upper, always err cautiously, yes? Lowest I've been up there is a little under 1k. Less water increases pinning chances, and with less river push, it takes longer to get from A to B unless we paddle more.
Yes/no?

I dig it, but damn it seems low for the Upper (despite what I heard about the run this summer at what, maybe 375?).
Should be a luxuriously crappy weather day, to boot! Grub and refreshments should certainly be brought, and I encourage any Lower only runners to meet us at Paradise unless they need to get out early. We've picked people up mid way before, during a full gorge run, and it always works well. I'd say to those lower runners to plan on being down at the waters edge no later than 12:30.
Does that sound right Slick?

What a fun day!
Thanks again, Brian, for getting that clean line in Mercury into my brain.
So cool to start off the five of us, Dave hops off the river at Paradise, other Dave books down stream, the three others of us meet up with four others in the Lower gorge for lunch, when two more come paddling down from Paradise. Brian booked after the other Dave (equipment exchange/misplacement due to shuttle change), and the rest of us make it out of FG with about 10-15 min. to spare.
Great people, fun surfing, fun lines! Thank you!

Hey that was a great run! Thanks for all the support and confidence in boogying down the river. I had a great time and it was great to meet so many people on the river. Brian, I will definitely hang on to your hood, it was so nice to have on my noggin. Chris didn't even take his hood off until we got to his car at the put in!
