Here's the link you want for BC gauges: http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/text_search/search_e.html?search_by=p®ion=BC
As far as I know, the Ashlu and Callaghan are ungauged. Callaghan is somewhat correlated to Cheakamus above Millar Cr. though (pretty much the drainage across the street)

The 'Wateroffice' website has some of the info. Here is the page for the Elaho: http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/graph/graph_e.html?stn=08GA071

We pull water levels for the Cheak, and Elaho. Callaghan does not have an online source. http://www.bchydro.com/info/res_hydromet/data/chk.txtThat is the cheak one. http://professorpaddle.com/rivers/riverdetails.asp?riverid=4093http://www.bchydro.com/info/res_hydromet/data/ela.txtElaho Ashlu is not online either I don't think, I always used the elaho to coorelate.

As of a couple days ago...
Callaghan has plenty of water. Locals call it medium-high.
Cheakamus was at 2.85' on the take out gauge. Locals called that high. Eddies were few and the waterfall was not appealing.

Those should both be good for a couple weeks according to the local crowd.
Bring bug spray and something to sleep in to keep the bugs away if you're camping around the Callaghan area.

Was on cheak last night. It was around 2.8 still which I would call high. Very few eddies. But it is fun if you know the lines. Callaghan has come down significantly from Friday/Saturday. Probably a legit medium now. Seemed to be coming down steadily.

How long you up there for Jon? I want to get those pictures from the race from ya when you get back. That's if I can of course:) Good seeing you up there. Take care of Dufay! Lots of students here in Everett will need him in a few weeks.

Well, since Dufay bailed, I came back down for a little bit. May go back up next week. I am actually uploading the pics right now. Unfortunately, I had to split them between two cards. As is often the case with technology, one of the cards f**king corrupted, and the pics didnt make it. Guess which card your pics were on? Anyway, if you want some pics of the other racers, I have them.

Oh Ben, I have seen that gauge.. Those tricky little bastards use a Hex PNG file to display the level as a graphic with no way to pull the level other than visually looking at the image.
