   Topic: weekend paddling...

Looking for some paddlers that wouldn't mind hitting some water with a newbie.... I have a 4day weekend starting this Friday... might be up in Seattle this weekend, don't know yet.
Paddlegirl... let me know if you up for it, or if you get your gear, i was at work and don't remember what you mentioned about it.

Yeah I am not sure if I will have gear and boats by the weekend or early next weekend. Should know soon though, I'll keep you posted

I'd be up for the YoYo(Green) sometime Friday.
Paddlegirl... I can probably hook you up with a boat and gear easily enough.

Ps... my stuff is scheduled to arrive Monday or Tuesday now. And thank goodness bc it will be nice to eat on real plates with real silverware again.
My car won't be here until the 28th, sucks.

How about 10:30am? We can do a couple laps on the YoYo, then I may try to bop down the Lower Gorge or Headworks.
Surfing is good on Headworks these days. Anyone?
Paddle Girl... I may or may not have a drysuit you can wear, but I certainly have drytop and neoprene pants type stuff. Helmets, paddle/pogies, skirt, pfd, creekboat/playboat/squirboat/canoe? If you wanna go, we can fix you right up. :-)
If someone wants to carpool, I'm in the Central District.

Sweeeeeet! I'd love to go! Tricia are you willing to pick me up though?
I'm guessing this is class 2 since we have a newb? So in that case i'd love to paddle a playboat or a smaller river runner... as long as its a kayak I'm happy! I'm about 5.5 and 135? Will need some layers /neoprene if a leaky drytop... but my long undies are heavyweight. Do you have some shoes/booties? I can probably make something work if not.
And tricia, they just called and said my car should be here by the 22nd or 23rd, so I should be able to drive us to la push!

Yeah, i can pick you up... you have seen my g-force on fb no setup for the feet but the boat is there if you wanna use it. Though if splashdaddy has a set up boat for you with the skirt and all, that might work better.

So much for your other paddler. We may have more company yet.
The Central District is about a mile East of downtown Seattle.
The put-in for the YoYo is at Flaming Geyser State Park. We can meet at the bridge, right when you enter the park.

That's the spirit PaddleGirl. Skip, XXX or EZG60? Yes, it's easy class II but there is some decent, small surfing. It's a really short run. It's easy to take a short hike to scout everything before we put on and it's really short, so a couple laps is pretty easy too.

It was awesomeous incarnate.
We ran the Lower Gorge and it was surf-o-rama... but surfing in the Headworks is better. :-)
Will probably paddle something on Monday.
