Calendar Event: Aaron Pruzan brings schwag & a slide show to SRK Posted: 05 Dec 2007 at 11:55pm |
“Source to Sea in Alaska and BC” comes to SRK December 10
World traveler Aaron Pruzan of Jackson, Wyoming, is primed to bring his exciting and provocative slide show to SRK. His last visit two years ago regaled us with tales of Russian raft guides, wild rivers, crazy vodka-drenched parties in small towns, and that wacky Siberian dude who paddles in his underwear. Hmmmmmm. This one promises much more incredible stories and visual entertainment as Aaron and his crew hit the waters of the Homathko and Alsek Rivers in the far north. Join us at 7pm on Monday the 10th of December. We’ll start the refreshments with a few goodies in the fridge; you can enhance the booty by bringing more to add to the fare. See you here!
Yep. Free.
SRK is Seattle Raft and Kayak, 7777 62nd Av NE in Seattle's Magnuson Park on Lake Washington. If you've never been here, and you're coming over in the dark on Monday, you really oughta hit the web site for directions: www.blogger.com//http://SeattleRaftandKayak.com
See ya! Bill

Just got a box of schwag from our buddies at NRS... so be sure to drop by for the traditional SRK gear-chucking-&-catching part of the show. If you were there for "Pacific Horizons" last week, you saw Bryan Smith tempted to chuck out the Yakima prizes. Boat racks don't catch well. NRS stuff, no worries.
See y'all at our place, Monday night, 7pm. We got a little refreshment, you bring more --

Awesome show, thanks to Aaron for presenting an entrancing story. Thanks to the 45 of you that came out, and muchas gracias to our guys at NRS, Snapdragon, and our coolest new Seattle gear supplier, KAVU, for sending along some awesome schwag.
Jennie Goldberg from AW showed up at the last minute, and collected a pretty good take for conservation and access to our rivers. Thanks Jennie, and thanks to everyone who chipped in generously.

Add a little whitewater and you would have some epic footage... But even without the gnar there was still some pretty amazing pic. The grizzly traffic was pretty wild.and the lumberjack camp.... reminds me of Joes house!!!
