James, don't close the POO POO POLL just because people are squeamish. I say, if some people are going to contribute substance, it is appropriate to acknowledge them. If some have a tendency to sling the poo, well, there should be the consequences of the poll. It is fun it should be fun, and it can serve to help us reflect on how we sincerely want to shape this forum.

It could use a little help. Joking around is ok, slinging a little poo is ok, but it's crowded out meaningfull substance. I say Poll the Poo, and Poll the Rad!!

BTW- Tobin, I couldn't nominate you for the Poo- you're injured, and need some release. Besides, you cook a mean burger! I don't want to alienate myself from potential burger priviledges of the future!

(And we need you for whatever this Aplets and Cotlets thing is about)

Aww, your just jealous Leif.   Don't know so much about myself but Jon has shared a lot of useful info here and I've appreciated many of his posts.

I'd don't think I'll be voting for "Hugo" on this poll though, that bitch would first have to man up and post under his real identity.

Much has transpired since I have been gone. Confucius enjoys the spirited adventures of this group and their words of wisdom.

May the great rivers of this region help us find our special poo poo poster.

You can hike into trinity by following the rail road tracks down from rodeo, until you see the little stands on the banks of the river where the camera guys sit for rafting photos. Just FYI that is private property so if you going to walk along the banks you will want to stay below the high water mark. ... I suppose the rail road tracks are private property to but that is less of an issue.

If you hike through there watch out for PO.  It is all ove the trail that we hike for Last Chance Wave when it is in which is right along the river.  It is just starting to really come in over here.  Leaves of three let it be!!!!  There is also a little bridge to cross the irrigation ditch where the river gets close to the tracks.  You might consider just asking the homeowner if you can use access to the "tree house" so you can drive in.

There is actually a game trail on the hill that leads from the highway and there was a new irrigation diversion that was put in there last year so some of the brush and trees have been cleared out..  You would have to get dropped off but you can make it.  You might have to do some exposed hiking/climbing but you can get right to the eddy if you are determined enough.
