Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and Olympia. I am looking to get out and paddle a bit this winter. I've got a lot of experience but I am still not very talented, so I get pretty nervous on class IV stuff. Hit me up if you would like to go for a paddle this weekend or any other time somewhere near the South Sound. I am down to do mellow floats too, just like exploring the river!

Hey Sam welcome to Oly! There are tons of great runs nearby and some amazingly beautiful class 3 runs. I have been living and boating in Oly for over 20 years and it just never gets old. I will be doing a easy class 2 section of the Satsop on Saturday with my girlfriend and something class 4ish on Sunday (probably the Tilton).
