Hey Guys,
This Saturday we are throwing a pumpkin race on the Skykomish. This is a mass start race where you will attempt to collect the highest numbered pumpkin. You can swap out pumpkins if you find a better one. There will be Ninkasi beer at the takeout, vintage CK mags in return for a donation and Kayak Academy will be helping with the shuttle. Come check out the Halloween Throwdown and help us raise money for TEAM RIVER RUNNER.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the race:
Best Pumpkin and Best Costume

Keep your eyes out for Bonus pumpkins. They aren't worth points, but they are instant wins. For instance, find the Snapdragon pumpkin and win a skirt.
Also. we are looking for some safety boaters, please shoot me a PM if you can help.
Thanks,
SYOTR,
Gordon

Hey Guys, here is the schedule. Come race the Sky and collect pumpkins.
The Race runs from Confluence to Big Eddy, but you can opt to only run the Lower Sky. Kayak Academy will be providing help with Shuttling boats, and they will provide a free Jackson Demo kayak if you call (206) 527-1825 and reserve a boat. With every donation to TRR, you also get a free vintage (think 70s & 80s) Canoe & Kayak Magazine. We have lots of great prizes, beer at the bottom, and rain on the way. Hope to see you there.

Hi Christian, any boat length is allowed. Prijons, Sea Kayaks, and Rafts are all welcome. The faster you are, the better selection of pumpkins you have. This is still a mass start race.
