We are taking our kids down Big Eddy tomorrow in our inflatables. We will be moving slow and letting them play along shore and explore as much as they want. Would love to have some other kids along! Anyone else is welcome also, just be prepared for a lot of stopping and letting the kids play.

We'll join you next time!

I'm also contemplating a lazy weekend float on the lower Sky, complete with camping on an island somewhere.

Jule,
I'm totally down for an overnighter on the Sky or somewhere else. I wonder where we can find a wilderness like experience that isn't too far away. I suppose the Sky is just as good as any other river for that purpose. Maybe the upper Wenatchee too?
Catch your eddies,
Christian

We take our kids on day floats down the lower Sky all the time, Big Eddy to Sultan, and from Sultan to Monroe.  I take a grill and cook hamburgers and hotdogs on a sandbar somewhere along the way, and stop often so the kids can explore and play in the water.

I have been thinking about a camping trip along the Sky, and may do a scouting trip soon to look for campsites.  I am also thinking of a camping trip on the upper Wenatchee in early fall with the kids.
