My quest for a x-over rr/play boat that I can fit in continues...thanks for all the input so far folks. The only remaining current model I haven't yet tried is the LL Freeride. No vendor stocks them north of the River Store on SF American as near as I can tell. Seems like Jackson kinda *owns* market share in the PNW.

Anywho, been looking to just sit in one to see if my long stick legs can get in there. Anybody have impressions they want to share or better yet, one I can try to sit in, even dry? If that doesn't pan out I'll have to scour the web for an old G-Ride 6.5, a boat so slow you can move backwards in geologic time. And that is not a pretty thought now is it

Thanks Hinds- my challenge is that I need a medium (weigh 170) from the standpoint of volume, but then my legs can't fit in. I couldn't get into the medium Fuse, and in the medium Varun I had to have my feet splayed forward, ballet style, with no shoe at all. That was a deal breaker.

I have heard that the Freeride has a bigger cockpit and is better for my frame. I just can't seem to find one to demo. I heard that Outdoorplay in Hood River will let one sit in them dry. But that isn't exactly next door (I live in Seattle).
