If you do the rogue with two nights on the river, then it's a long day in your boat. Go with what makes you comfy. There's a bunch of play on it, so there's value in having a boat that's fun for that.
I've run it 3X around that time of year. Lolts's of water, but the big three rapids are what should determine if you need a bigger boat for stability:
Rainie is easier at that level - less steep, and besides, it's just a single move, so assuming you can roll up at the bottom of Rainie in your play boat as well as a creek boat, I wouldn't let that determine your decision.
Mule creek and Blossom will give you the most trouble Mule creek has lots of big boils that can tip and make rolling up hard. You could get pulled into a nearby raft, but otherwise it'll be a loooong swim. If your comfortable staying forward and in balance in your 2 fun then use it, because the rest of the river is just a bunch of play, even when the waves get big.
Blossom's entry shoud be fine in a play boat, but there will be lots of big holes in the run out. If you'r comfratble in your play boat in Mule Creek, Blossom isn't likely to be much of a problem for you.
Have fun!
