Not only was he a great guy, and an amazing boater..he was impartial and not judgmental. He didn't have attitude and to him a boater was a boater, Class II - Class V it didn't matter. Friends of friends have called him a legend, and I'd have to agree. He'll be missed, he brought hundreds of people to the world of kayaking and touched hundreds more.
