I am headed to Canada next weekend for about 5 days or so. Headed up from Seattle to Whistler area and then back down to Seattle. Looking to paddle some rivers that have 2/3 sections and 3/4 sections. I will be going up with some grade 3/4 paddlers and would like to hop on above or below the tough sections so we can all paddle.

Anyone out there have suggestions of what rivers we should check out or websites on the rivers in Canada that are useful!? We will be camping the whole time and will have two cars to shuttle with.

Thanks for the info!!!

Sounds like you want Claudia Schwab's book, which is a pretty good guide to class IV- and easier whitewater in that part of BC:

Should be available in shops once you get up there.

On the way to Whistler you can run Ehalo-
Squamish, below the hard run there is a 3/4 section.
There is a tributary that flows into the Ehalo-
Squamish near the take out for this run.
Above the mine run there is a II+-III play run.
If your want something harder but not the mine
run then they can paddle mini-mine run
which is a few mile above 50/50 just below
the take out.
There is a class II-III run on the Green
from the lake about three miles long. Don't
go past the take out as it gets much harder.
There is a class III run on the Lilloquet
North out of Pemberton.
You can also paddle Cayoose Creek which has
easy and sections.
Back closer to Whistler Your friend can paddle
the Checkamus, which should be considered hard
IV, an easier section would be the Cal-Check
where you would put on the Callghan where
it crosses the highway that takes you to Whistler.
Drive downriver to find the take out. Make sure you get
out before the river gets hard.

Last time I was on the Ashlu play run I'd call it an easy IV.
