So what are all of your thoughts on helmet replacement?

I have a shred ready vixen that I like a lot, which I've had for a few years (though a lot of times nowadays I just wear my full face).

I noticed this weekend after taking two hits to the head that i have a smallish, maybe about a one inch crack.  I also noticed a little bit of a bullseye, maybe cracks, but not major damage.

so it's not major damage but there is some damage other than scratches.  think it should be replaced?  or are there some general rules on helmet replacement?

Muchas gracias.

Crack = replace. The crack means the helmet did its job in response to a pretty hard hit and it cracked instead of your head. If you hit that spot again, it is likely you will get hurt.

Crack = Replace.

Or duct tape, just kidding, don't do that, your head is worth much more alive.

I like the Sweet line of Helmets, kinda pricey, but really comfortable and seem to hold up to a lot of abuse.

if you like the vixen, try the Shred Ready Shaggy....a little bit more coverage than the vixen...it's like the Tdub for girls.

If you want a cheap helmet I think these are pretty nice considering they're $25
