In the market for a new helmet and I'm looking at the Predator Lee and the Shred Ready Standard Full Face helmets.  Does anyone already have either of these? Pros and cons to each? Looking at these two as to not completely empty my wallet. Thanks for any info.

The Shredready is a decent helmet. My wife uses one.My mallet is a bit big, so I use a Sweet Fullface. Make sure you try it on and see that you can get a winter skull cap on underneath for rolling.

I have the Shred Ready - worked fine, but never could seem to get the fit right - definitely try it on first.  Ended up going with the Sweet Fullface after a season.  Wear that almost all time since it fits so well.

WRSI makes a full face that is probably easy on the wallet too.

I have the Shred Ready full face, I believe it only comes in one size. Works great BUT I have a small head and even then it is tight to get it on, but fits great once on my head. Def got to try one on before buying just to see if it fits okay.

Make sure you try them on. My head is on the smaller side of SR's sizing range. It never fit snug without really ratcheting it down and even then.... It always felt lose even after spending hours trying to adjust it. I tried on a sweet FF, it fit me like a glove out of the box, and saving money went out the window. Just make sure it fits great, if it does, awesome! If not find one that is comfortable and right for you. The predators look nice, but I didn't like the fact there isn't any kind of opening near the ears, it's already hard to hear people with a full face on in the first place.

I have a Predator full face that I'd sell for $150- I haven't used it at all but I find it very comfortable. You could at least try it on and see how it fits... However, I live in Bellingham.

Check the coverage around the base of the skull, too. I have WRSI's Trident helmet and it IS the best fitting helmet I've ever owned. The thing doesn't move on my head. Even when I push it up, it settles right back in place. They have been fiddling with a full face version for a couple years now and the Moment will be on the shelf this spring or whenever your dealer orders one. Here's a side view pic I found. It's on facebook, so I don't know if you need an account. Might be on the boatertalk site, too. It's rumored to retail for $139. That's gotta be the cheapest full face on the market. I had a Sweet Full face back when they were cheap ($300). Fit great.

If you can't find one that fits well or is comfortable, you can always go with an FNA....my wife and I both have them and love them. Outfitting takes some time but once it's dialed it's perfect. We have the Xstream with bar +$20 when I bought mine.
