Hans Hoomans, Tom Marley, Kira Watts and I took two rafts into Ernies Gorge at 500 cfs and had an amazing day of paddling this past monday.   Having rafted the Little White Salmon the previous weekend, we felt confident in both our teams, and i'm stoked to say we completed the run with only 3 portages.   Here are some pics, check out the gallery for more.   All pics by Kira Watts!

Like Tom said this is not a first D,   It was first rafted this year at 350 cfs,   and they had twice the portages that we did.  Our group went down with 500 cfs and only portaged 3 rapids.  We were joking at the put in that this descent carried with it many firsts...

All jokingly of course.

1.First descent while carrying a six pack of beer
2. First all raft descent
3. First descent with water
4. First descent by a woman
5. First descent with temps of 70 in July

The list goes on,  haha

Awesome job guys!
I didn't realize you lost a paddle...there must be more to this story than what we're hearing here!

1 raft paddle was lost after a tight squeeze between some boulders, but no story really.   I'm still looking for my Werner Shogun from an earlier kayak trip this past winter tho :-)

Btw, just uploaded more pics to the gallery, video will be out soon!
