Out for Sunday, but for future reference, how does Jefferson rate relative to some other benchmarks?

Jefferson is awesome. Steep and pretty short. I've heard a lot of folks liken it to Gettin' Busy (Little White). The first half is 300+ fpm boulder gardens than mellow into a sweet mile-long bedrock section. Roadside put-ins/takeouts. No huge drops. As far as benchmarks go...........I'm not sure. It IS class V, and it rocks.

It's a class V run, make no mistake. Much steeper and far more continuous than the Truss. It goes REAL good for how steep it is, but imagine swimming it and trying to get out.

I'm jonesing to get on the water, but would want to make a weekend of a peninsula trip. Not sure I've run 300 fpm... that would be interesting!

How low was it? The water was just below the bottom blue line on the put in gage on Saturday. We thought it was low but not too low. I definitly took some plastic off of my boat, hence a no show on Sunday. Call me next time though, I'm only a little over an hour away from the put in.

we got there about 4pm saturday to camp...the flows did not recede much from then to when we put-in, so I am guessing flows were similar for runs saturday and sunday.
