Happy Hour playspot on the Middle Middle seems to be my Lochness Monster. I think the levels are between 1700-2200 but I could be mistaken. Anybody have some beta on the location.

When I run the Middle Middle, it is often happy hour the whole way down.

It's a narrow window.  The sweet spot used to be somewhere around 1500 - 1800cfs.  Much lower and you could (would) hit the rock.  Much higher and flushing kept rides short.  It wasn't that long ago when you'd find a large contingent up there afterwork in the spring if levels were good.  The last couple of times I was there I flew solo, and the trail down to the river looked as if no one had been there in years.  Too bad.  RIP Happy Hour.

Oh, and location...  It's upstream of the concrete MM bridge about 1/4 of a mile.  If you stand on the bridge and look upstream, you can just see the tail end of the pool that's below the play spot drop.  To get there, drive across the bridge and go upstream about 1/3 mile.  I don't remember the exact distance, but you cross a smaller bridge / culvert over a stream.  About 100 yds past this smaller bridge is an old overgrown road heading sharply back to the right towards the river.  Look carefully or you'll miss it.  Park and walk this old road down towards the river, dodging puddles, downed trees, etc.  Just before hitting the beach at the river, take the obvious side option that branches off left and heads upstream.  Then, stay right to get to the rivers edge rather than getting stuck in the swamp.  Once on the river bank, walk up the shore / gravel bar to the pool and enjoy happy hour.  And, as the name suggests, bring beer.

After following Jon's directions I think I was there.  I basically took the old trail all the way down to the river....went up the river about a hundred feet and spotted a ledge/rock that is about 12 feet wide.  I assumed that was the feature.

The level was about 1500 cfs and seemed low ....I kept hitting the rock when initiating wheels.  It might actually be better at 1800 - 2000 cfs.
