Take Hwy 14 to Washougal


  Putin Details

Drive up Washougal river road to mile 9.9 and turn right on Canyon Creek road (look for a store here) and cross the bridge over the river. Immediately after the bridge turn right on Sportsman road and continue a short ways to the Fishing Access area.


  Takeout Details

Take out in Washougal at Hathaway Park. From Hwy 14 turn onto Washougal River road. In a few blocks turn right on F street. In a few more blocks turn left on 25th St. Hathaway Park is at the end of the street.

Alternatively, take out at the WDFW boat ramp 3 miles up Washougal River road (Discover Pass or WDFW pass required)

   Run Description [Season: Rainy]

Rainy season run close to Portland with several class 2 rapids a few class 3s and one big class 3+ to 4 rapid (Big Eddy).

Big Eddy rapids can be scouted on the shuttle up and is pretty easy to spot from the road. Its located just downstream from... yes, a big eddy.
