   Run Description

This is a nice short run for beginning paddlers. The first mile or so is characterized by small splashy continuous rapids with great scenery, although you may feel out of place wearing a helmet and PFD among the throngs of swimmers and innertubers. Be careful due to the presence of wood at bends in the river. Take the time to look upstream every once in a while to catch great views of snowcapped peaks.

Midway through the run, short sections of bedrock create some small interesting ledges with stronger current.
