Thursday Middle Middle..

I ran the Middle Middle last night for the first time (finally!) and it was a fun run with a great group of paddlers.  There was a total of 9 including myself, Courtney, Josh, Ryan, Matt, Brad, Beth, Kirk, and Eric.  Wish we had a little more daylight to do it in though - it was almost completly dark when we finally got out.  The run itself was actually easier then I expected, and am looking forward to hitting it at a higher level.  Time to stop playing those head games and syking myself out.  We found a lot of little play waves and holes as well as a bunch of splatable rocks.  House rocks was nothing like I expected, although at higher flows, I can see it being a much bigger challenge.  Overall it was a great trip, however at this time of year, putting in before 6:00pm would be advised so as to have enough time to do the run and play along the way without having to paddle in the dark!
