The 2008 qp Down River Race
Who is ready to get the beat on down the ole icicle creek? Before we can get started make sure you are at the pre race meeting which
will start for competitors at 10:00 am in the PP Ball HQ & Camping area. There is no cost to compete in this event if you have already paid for another event. (If you pay for one competition you are covered for any other competition without additional charges. If you have not paid for another event this will cost $10.00)
Competitor's registered in this trip will be preselected for the time
slot of their choice in the order of joining, this will be determined
during the pre-event meeting. After that the time slots will be
determined by first come first serve basis.
The Race will consist of one lap with paddlers launched every 30 seconds. The lowest times win.
Safety will be set up at the main ledge, and above the wood dealie. Timers will be positioned at the Start:Bridge drop and at the Last Ledge known as Little Twister
Boats over 9' long will be timed and awarded seperately.
1st Place = Bliss Stick Creek Boat
2nd Place = MTI PFD
3rd Place = NRS Float Bags
