Cost: $220 2 Petzl locking HMS carabiners 2 black diamond oval carabiners 3 Petzl pulley wheels 2 Petzl tibloc ascenders 1 Petzl Traxion pulley/ascender 1 anchor sling/runner The main attraction is the pulley/ascender. It captures the forward progress so it doesnt slip back when you let go of the z drag to reset it for the next pull. Some have found it frustrating without this when forward progress is lost as soon as you let go of the rope.

I just don't think the leg of that table is going to support this under any real load...

I would also point out to those unaccustomed to rope work that the chair anchor (which would be the point) is inadequate. As designed there could be a third loading point on the side of the biner that could break it or open the biner gate. Of course, if it were a boat, you would just click it and go... but you should not attached to an anchor this way. the other anchor, with the two pullies attached, is correctly configured.

Using the metal mini-ascenders instead of prussiks for carabiner attachment points will shred your rope in a short amount of time. Nice system though and great photo Jim #ropeonrope
