That looks like the falls on the north fork sauk. I don't think it is quite as clean as it looks, big rock in the bottom if I remember right |

This is a no-go, above the falls it class IV, lot's of undulating eddies that feed back into sieves, huge boils, and a razor thin line at the top. The right side has the potential for an atomic piton, and once you drop in there is no way out except over the falls. If you paddle the N frk of the sauk scout the take-out before you put on. There is a class IV drop that looks fun, but it leads into the class IV and this. |

There's a mini gorge just below the falls with some enticing looking class 4... but I think it's a what you see is what you get situation and the action peters out just around the corner. |
