| So a mere 330' from the edge of this landslide, SnoPUD wants to blast a tunnel UNDERNEATH the riverbed Through the bedrock, just UPSTREAM of Sunset Falls. Here's the thing: if you look at the arial photos you can see that Mama Skykomish could very well decide, at some point, to re route itself through where the landslide is. It would then entirely bypass Canyon Falls and Sunset Falls, and therefore the site of the proposed SnoPUD dam. |
