| I'm kinda proud of these. I got a Sterilite tub on sale at Fred Meyer and cut out the,plastic with a super fresh utility blade. I like this plastic better than the rubbermaid tubs for outfitting because the plastic is more rigid, cutable and sandable.
I cut the thigh braces out of the corners of the tub- the corner radius fits my leg pretty good, and the curve provides a shape to lay up sheets of mini cell on. I cut just enough plastic out of the skeleton to make it more flexible where I wanted it, and to trim weight. Plus, sandwiching foam around the plastic's windows helps lock it all together as one cohesive unit. |
