This is a great boat design, but aside from the seat itself, comes with no outfitting what so ever. While its always cool to outfit one's kayak from scratch, it is a lot of work to make it functionally effective and nice. Outfitting an Eskimo boat presents extra challenges because there are no walls in the boat, and therefore no plastic track for stowing a throw bag and bottle. This Diablo also came without thigh braces, so I had to make those from scratch too...

So in spite of the previously mentioned details, what made you decide on an eskimo boat? The salto was one of the first kayaks that caught my eye when I started looking at whitewater, but a few comments regarding its lack of pilar made me wary. Plus theyre hard to find used. lol
