Note the log on River right wedged on the bank. this is in the drop above double drop (the 4th drop?). The typical line looks to be down the right side which unfortunately pushes you into the log. Portage on river left or run a tight line on the left. Level in the pic is 310 cfs on the Dept of Ecology gauge.

We ran that at a little higher flow ~600cfs and that log must have been covered. We ran down the left, but there is certainly pin potential there.

That's the drop Kyle K pinned in a couple months back. No tree then and he pinned on the right. Rooster tail at the bottom that doesn't look like much is a nasty pin rock.

pin rock would not be an issue if you ran that creek at a reasonable flow.
