Yo Chris: How did you guys get this rolling again?

Date Posted: 20 Apr 2010 at 6:20pm
I did not. The efforts of Nicole LeBlanc, Marco Colella and others are what has made this happen. They were dedicated to making this happen so they just made it so... The have put forth a ton of effort and if any of you are interested in helping please contact them via the website. Along with all of the events Friday and Saturday there is the Save the Wenatchee River Festival Group Paddle which we are hoping to get as many people as possible out to paddle together. Everyone should come out as this should be a super fun festival year!!!

Bummed- not gonna make it  The White Salmon is calling...

On the bright side, here's hoping you guys will actually get to experience some of the "Wenatchee Classic" weather patterns we have come to expect (like spoiled children, admittedly) over on the east side for this time of year. I've been over there at least four weekends and its been cold and rainy most of the time.

Any wild guesses as to whether or not Rodeo will be in better play on Friday?

More water, please.

The water will be higher on Fri than Sat, so Rodeo will be better. My favorite level is between 12-14k. It should be working Fri, not sure about Sat.

Not to sound like a cheap dirt bag kayaker... but $15 /nite  for tent camping at the fairgrounds seems a bit steep.   At least there is no charge to boat the water!!

I was thinking that is a bit steep too... and I know this is going out on a limb but I anticipate it wouldn't be the quietest place to get sleep...

Long live Phil, If it weren't for that guy we might have had to charge $30 bucks for the weekend per head too!!!

If you do head to phil's it would be nice if you talked to him first and maybe kicked a few bucks down to him. I don't want that to be a strain on him since he hooks it up so much.

I'm with Tony on this one.   Phil is awesome and would happily contribute.  Plus I'm sure his cranky neighbor would be happy to see us again.
