Forecast is 6'-9' over the weekend, with the lower range being early Saturday AM and late Sunday PM...anyone want to hit up CC Stilly?

You gotta be pretty bad ass to run CC when the SF Stilly is at 9 feet.  If CC is running at a reasonable level, i'm in.  But if CC gets high, a good back up plan is the SF Stilly.  The class III section on SF Stilly turns into fun Class IV above about 7.5 feet.  I've been looking to get back on it at higher water for a while now.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the levels do.

Yeah Dave, Upper Pil is just what the doctor ordered. That was a blast last January.

I love options.

I thought about Pilchuck too but I was too scared to even voice that hope.  It will take a lot of water but you better believe I'm going to be watching it.

Right now, 400cfs is about my limit but better paddlers than me run it much higher.  that first ledge scares me at high water.

I am moving all those off topic posts here for general weekend banter. Since the Robe thread is re-surfaced for one and only one reason there is no need to have it filled with jibber jabber.

Does the gauge look screwy again to you?  May need your visual expertise skillz to report for the rest of us.

what's this secret stash??? Is there some new creek run on Wiley Creek or something?  Upper CC?

DEFINITELY PROPS for that comment. And to answer your question?
Hint: One of the sharper tools in the shed actually threw it out on one of his suggestions!!!(on this very thread!)
Another Hint: Not Pilchuck, although that's a good option too if it comes in.

Just an FYI.  Pilchuck was way to high today.  Chocolate milk water, gauge rock not even close to showing, water going through bushes in the banks, logs floating down.   Yep, that was a shocker.  The storms really favored the north this time around..

Amazing how that gage shot straight up. And to think it was 7 cfs a few days ago.

Knowing Pilchuck it's likely to be too low by tomorrow.

I've run it at 1500 and it sure seemed higher than 2100 or whatever the gauge is currently reading.

It looks like the pilchuck gage hasn't updated since this morning around 8 or so, and it was going straight up. Maybe it was more like 3k or better when you were there.

The gauge read around 6k for last weekend's Moshing. How was the feature? In? Big? Small? Still real good?
