My son, Mathew, is flying up from North Carolina today and I want to take him down the Sky tomorrow. We will be in my Tomcat II and will be putting in at Cable drop then going through the Gauntlet that may be at Boulder drop.

We were hoping to have a safety boater or two with us and we were probably going to get to Split rock take out to shuttle at around 11:30am or so.

I am not posting a trip, because not sure what is going to transpire yet, but is anyone going to be there tomorrow? Looks like its going to be a nice day...

If we didn't have other plans I would have loved to have hooked up with our son and Tomcat II also.  Let us know when you take that sucker out again.  Have fun this weekend.

Dave, I'm gonna be up there with my raft and would like to do a run down from Cable Drop with a long break at BD.  I also have room for some folks that are looking for a ride down the river. I think that I have 2 confirmed passengers, so there is room for at least 3 more. It's not a big boat, but I think we could reasonably do 8 people, and probably a few more for a run down BD. Let me know if you are looking for a way down the river, but keep in mind that this is totaly Chose Your Own Adventure and

BTW, my son is almost 21 and he is an adult that chooses his own destiny. Although I may be helping him on Saturday by not warning him what is in store at Boulder Drop...heheheheheh

I would hope that no children are involved in this madness on Saturday. It will be no place for a young one...

I'd like to get on the water tomorrow. I haven't done the Sky yet, but it looks fun. Are there details available as to where to meet? -Rochelle

Basically just drive down HWY 2 past Gold Bar until you see a bunch of cars parked on the right shoulder and that is Split rock.

Or Keep driving another mile or so and on the left will be parking for Boulder Drop. The road is about 50 feet above the river there and you will see the river through the trees below.
