I'm down,  anyone have a raft who wants to do the Goodell Creek - Copper Crk section one day and the Copper to Rockport the next?

Never done the Skagit so it seems like as good as a weekend as any to head up there.  If no rafters want to rally I'm down to kayak but it's way more fun and efficient to take a raft on a river cleanup mish.

Hope to see you all out there.

Anyone who doesn't want to click the link here's what the AW site has on it:

The weekend of March 15th Blue Sky Outfitters will host the third annual Skagit River Clean-up. We are looking forward to this annual event that celebrates the beauty of the only designated Wild and Scenic River in Western Washington. Boaters will focus clean up efforts on the Goodell Creek to Copper Creek run and the Copper Creek to Rockport run. The day will end with a great party on the Skagit River including a dinner and a raffle with proceeds going to support AW's Pacific Northwest Stewardship work.

Here are the details:

Schedule:
Saturday
10:00AM: Meet to get info and coordinate shuttles
11:00AM to 4:00PM: River Cleanup!
5:00PM: Potluck and benefit fish BBQ
6:00PM: Raffle

Sunday
10:00AM: Meet to coordinate shuttles/carpooling
11:00AM to 4:00PM: River Cleanup!

Check out the Skagit River Cleanup page on the Blue Sky website for more information including a list of all the great prizes available in the rafflle.

We have received a tremendous response from our members and supporters for our stewardship program and we want to thank companies like Blue Sky Outfitters who have taken a strong step forward in supporting our work. The Skagit is one of several river cleanups we are a part of this year.
