I'm there! But, shouldn't we try and meet around 8ish? Is that too early? Also, lets keep an eye on the green river gauge. There probably wont be enough rain for that though.....

Don't you have a Turkey to cook?

8-ish would be better for me, since my family usually has a pretty early turkey day dinner. Means I'd have to hop over the pass wednesday night, though. Anyone in the north bend/issaquah/bellevue area have an extra couch they don't mind someone crashing on wednesday night?

I was talking to Samson about this and we were thinking about 8am too.

So, any chance of moving this trip earlier?

I'm stuck on college time, we don't do anything until after eleven. But... I'm sick of sleeping in... (WHAT?!)

I exaust manifold heated a burrito while driving down Rainier Ave S in "the Boeing District" today. It was hard to find an adequate flat spot on the 06' Tacoma. I should build a custom unit.....

I'll have my garlic butter warmer, and a miniature rotisserie that runs off the serpentine belt. On the dashboard, there will be a button with a turkey icon one pushes to engage the underhood rotisserie.

UMMMMM. I saw hydro ask for his Heidleburger wrapped in foil to go in Leavenworth last summer for just that reason.

I think I'll join you all for Dawn Patrol on Thursday.

This river don't go to Aintry. You done taken a wrong turn.

Easy Harms... If the Green stays up at 1100, we should consider that, or just run the Sky or Sultan if its up, or just a quick run at the power house?

Ash, how about the Green if it holds above 1k, and if it drops how about the Sultan?  I'll show you the line on Last Nasty.  You can do it.

I've heard that the portage around last nasty is worse than running it.

Posted By: dave
Date Posted: 21 Nov 2007 at 12:27pm
As long as you stay to river right on the Last nasty you will be fine, even if you swim. But if bye some unlikely chance that you run it river left, then........I have seen someone do that before and it wasn't pretty.........I believe his boat is still stuck in the siv......just don't go left and you will be fine, the rest of the run is cake.

You were with me on the Thompson, nothing stops me from portaging. But I'll most likely run it. I feel like running it...

That might be true. I can tell you that there is no way the portage can be any worse than the hike (climb) out from there, though.

I forgot Yotes, was that you that broke your paddle that day on the first drop?

This is what will happen to anyone that even thinks about hiking out!!!!
A spray skirt over the top, and you are running it anyway!!
I don't remember the hike out, I have mentally blocked it from my life!!

Holy smokes, we all sound like a bunch of addicts waiting for our next fix! Anyway, are we all meeting at Riverside park in Sultan? Is that the park right next to Hwy 2? It's a quick run even at flows between 600-800 so we should be off and on our way to full belly city in no time! I can't wait!......

no no still the Sultan, meet at the Riverside park in Sultan, then we will decide from there. The Sultan would be better because it's a quick fun run, then off for turkey!
