A Pyrahna (blue and white 420) was stolen this afternoon while owner of boat was eating inside around lunch time I'd imagine. I just got a v/m from him so I'm passing on the message. If you see one that looks used qustion get info even a picture of person trying to sell it so we's can tar and feather em. Or at least track em down and see if they are the one's stealing gear off the sky !! f-n basterd's !! I'm not sure what the size is does  6.1 sound like a 420.. anyway keep ur eye's peeled. I think it's highlighted with orange lettering as well.

In gold bar today a 420 pyranha was stolen off the top of a red truck while the owner was eating his meal. If you see one forsale get as much info from the seller and a pic of the dumb ass if possible.  I got a v.m from him earlier when I was at work. He wanted to get the word out so I thought i'd pass it on. Keep your eye's out the meth heads are hungry.

If it's a 4Twenty the size would be S-M or M-L. FWIW.

Sucks. I hate those guys.

Waht do thieves do with stolen kayaks and gear? Sell them to pawn shops? If so visit a couple of local pawn shops and check the serial #?

Ashley you hate Pyranha or you hate thieves?

Either way it is too bad that Down Town Gold Bar, once a flourishing transportation metropolis, is now turning into a hood. Let that be a lesson about what happens when meth and burritos are mixed! A combination of lethal proportions...

If I were a kayak stealing meth addict who had no regard for the law or even my own personal safety I would probably put up a post in a near by state and try and sell it there. They're probably local and I would wager aren't the most intelligent. I'd check some of the national sites for a boat such as yours being sold from WA with a local number. Get a calling card, call from a payphone (untraceable) and try and fake an accent. (Meth addicts only recognize the tweak dialect and won't catch on). See if they'll send photos to your "hotmail' address. When they do act excited and say you'll buy it RIGHT NOW, then vacillate. That usually gets them worked up and primed for a quick sale. Tell them you've boated there before and know a guy who lives in Seattle and he could pick it up after you pay and is a credit card alright? If not tell the meth addict the friend will bring the money after the "friend" ID's the boat, stay and call 911 and report a theft in progress wherever you are. Mth addicts are stupid. It'll work for sure.

Brett -

where you gonna find a pay phone?
The rest of your plan sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday.

I don't think that is the boat Brett. The dood has an outfitting kit and everything, that and it is a M/L. Wasn't the boat a S/M?

The other funny thing about this whole deal is that if the boat was taken in the La Hacienda Parking Lot, it was right on the side of HWY 2. I mean road side and in Gold Bar proper...Thats a pretty bold thing to do, walk right in town and take a boat from someones car right next to the restraunt and other stores. WOW . . Someone should ask Salty over at Alpine if he saw anything or knows anything. He is just a block away right?

Thats another crazy thing, Alpine just leaves stacks of deflated boats and gear outside all day long right next door and that stuff is worth way more than a kayak... I can't believe he would not have some details on the local prowlers with high dollar items laying around like that.

I guess the boat flew off his car and he found it by index. I think it could be a case of crying wolf !! but at least we got to vent on meth heads !!
