This is the ODB on the GCE discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the ODB on the GCE | Trip Page

If your interested in running the Grand Canyon of the Elwha there is a group that is headed out this weekend.

I am going to try and sneak into this mission but I will need to hook up with a carpool to save gas money. If your into let me know via PM. Do not just join this trip as the space is limited and I am not organizing this mission, just joining in. If more than one person is interested in coming with me I will check to see if space is availabe.

Jump on this by thursday or you might be too late.

James

This just in.... The plan is final meeting at 9:00 am in Port Angeles... The room is limited so this post is really just information for those that are already on board.

Dufay and I are heading out together in the early AM on sat morning. We plan on making our run Sunday.

Good luck boys.  I can't wait to hear about the trip.

I'm going to be on the OP backpacking this weekend up in the Elwa area... sort of.  I'll be dreaming of big whitewater while hoofing myself up hill.

One of our hikes is going to be along the Big Quilcene.  I've heard this is a V+ run and can't wait to see it.  A scouting mission of sorts, for mortals though.

Nice kayak pack James!!  Looks killer

James your 'covert' short is a freekin riot. I think the Elwha is too low for me. I'm doing the Tum and Cispus on Sun. Mike and Mitch are talking about the 3 mile Quinault run which I guess is also pretty low, says Mitch. I want to keep in shape for BC and keep the LOW away.
