There's a new tree in the river, spanning most of the channel about 50 yards downstream of Six of One Rapid (Alligator Drop). It toppled in right there and the root ball is still on the right bank. At medium flows you can paddle around it to the left but at low water you may need to portage (also on left).

It's in the moving flat water below the rapid (and just above the next rapid).

On our last trip we all ran Six of one on the left for an extra measure of caution. It's a fresh tree with lots of branches, so not something you'd want to swim into.

That tree will be there for awhile! Anyway....ran it this weekend (7/13/19) at <2500 cfs. You can still sneak around the left side of the tree. :)
