White river comin down from Crystal is just a flat, sprawled out gravel bed. Not that good of whitewater. Not sayin you shouldn't want to boat it, in fact, if I could Id sign up.

Its safe to say though that you won't get many takers. Too many wannabes and clueless fakers. Not sure about the flow, but if its low I wouldn't go. Still, I recommend running absolutely AS MUCH CLASS II AND III as you can across the land till you got class four skills in the can. Because once you hit the four you won't want to go three no more, and once you're up to five its all that will jive to keep a young man's blood alive. At least that's usually how it goez with the kayaker's flowz just stay on your toes because gettin hurt blows...

Devour each hour and progress slow
Climb the tower and hone what you know
Don't skip over steps
Or you might get wrecked
Its about STYLE in the sensation
The journey not the destination
Grace and Creation
Finding your soul among the River Nation

Yeah- go boat the White if there is water
Don't skim read The River's Playbook, because there's a lotta cool sh*t you might overlook. Savor each word She wispers in your ear, then you soon realize you needn't fear...

Run as much class II and III as you can before moving on, then keep revisiting stuff that is "under your Able-iTy"...

Shoutz out to my Man Nutty P!!!

I meant the middle section of the white salmon. Should have between more specific. But this trip had been canceled. Or modified. Now a possible solo toutle run

There's also a sweet class II stretch on the White River of The Wenatchee. It flows into Lake Wenatchee. Its a great canoe trip. Possibily one of the best in the state. Oh, and if ya wants ta git yer Gnar on, there is a Hairy waterfall that I'm inclined to call Class VI. In other words, it looks (marginally runnable). Got a camp ground on the upstream R. Left side of it, so its pretty easy to find.

I'm looking into getting a whitewater canoe as well as a seayak this Summer. I've got a serious inclination to make it to to orcas via paddle power this summer for a little guru pow wow if possible.
