I am looking to check off some of the trips I never had the chance to do last time I was here. One of those is the Skook. In looking at the tide charts, the next weekend with good speed during daylight is April 17-19, if I am reading things right. like to do with someone who has done the skook before. anyone interested? Know this is a long way out, but got to get these on the calendar w/ the family as would leave on a Friday, come back late on a Sunday (or maybe Monday AM?).

I may be interested, I have the week before off but have to be at work on the 20th. Could you leave Thursday?

I might be able to get out on Thursday, but the issue is the tide charts-- it will be slow on thursday (see http://tides.mobilegeographics.com/locations/5714.html?y=2015&m=4&d=16 ) Friday- through sunday / monday are goodnesss.   we could do a late night escape on Sunday to get back, but it would be pretty late

bump-- surely someone wants to go get their surf on!   heck, I'll even pay gas as I am driving up and back regardless, from Seattle.   and happy to meet a north WA or BC boater up there.

When do you want to hit skook?

The NWCC is giving you competition this weekend, but I'm free most of april and living up here in Van. Let me know if you are coming though

It's the following weekend-- the weekend of the 17th.    If you are up for it, I can head up that weekend.
