http://regions.worldkayak.com/leavenworth/2014/05/13/the-wenatchee-mid-may-freestyle-contest/ - The Wenatchee Mid May Freestyle Contest This freestyle event is intended be user friendly to all abilities of freestyle paddlers. Each paddler will have three rides to achieve their score from three judges. To be held at one of the following locations depending on water levels and paddle preference (we will take a vote at registration for the event location): - Rodeo hole if water levels are at 8500 +/- 200 cfs or 11,000 – 14,000 cfs - Drunkard’s Drop river right side 6400 cfs +/- 200cfs - Turkey shoot 6200 – 8300 cfs and 9000 cfs + - Grannies 9000 – 11,000 cfs Itinerary - 10:30 – 11:00 am: fill out waivers go over logistics and other event details at Riverside Park in Cashmere. - 11:00 - 11:15 am: Shuttle - 11:15 - 1:00 pm: Throwdown Time - 1:00 – 1:30 pm: Awards at Riverside Park in Cashmere I will be looking for three judges of varying experience to volunteer for the event. Prizes are given out for participation. |
