Gonna be great flows on the sky after work today. Who's down for a lap...

5:30 pm at split rock. Sky should be at least 7,000.
Quality water.

I was off by a day. Today is the peak. Looks to be topping out at about 10k.

Gonna be quality water for sure today.
Who is down to meet up today? Anyone?

Just because its all big water doesn't mean one has to run Boulder Drop or even put in at Index at all. Every time the sky comes up I wonder why more folks don't come out for the Split Rock to Big Eddy stretch. That's some quality big water class III. I'd totally boat to big eddy if someone wanted to put in at Split Rock for the lower half.

Anyway, most likely where Ill be today. Got the day off. Express some interest here whoever may bd down. I suppose I could peel off to Icicle if no one wants to hit the sky.

Top Tye looks like it could be in this morning, too, but thats gonna be an early attendence kind of thing. It rained a little on the pass yesterday/last night, but the effects will drop out super early.

Access to Box Drop is clear. Snow's melted out of the Old Cascade Hwy up to The Spout (but there is a downed tree up there somewhere near Skin So Soft). I'm bringing my bike since weekday companions are so hard to come by...

But I will check back here later this morning just in case someone actually wants to rally up Hwy 2 for these goods, because a motivated crew could probably catch the Foss this morning to if they were quick on the draw.

Yo bill- I will get your contact info so we are a little quicker on the draw- I will be hitting up the sky next week too if we don't synch it up today--

my plans shifted upstream to the Top Tye.
Found a few playmates who are meeting this afternoon up there.

Yeah, pretty much- "Top Tye", much to my surprise, is not what Bennet calls it in the guidebook. I actually think it'll drop out by later today when some ppeeps want to go, so we'll see...

I will go down and look at our very sturdy friend, Herr Sapling, then give a lil report .

Not sure I will make it all the way downstream to Index today. If Top Tye drops out, I'll definitely will hit the main sky later.

Bill, let's talk tonight about rebooting this plan for tomorrow....
