anyone know of an available room for rent for the winter?
I'm a kayak instructor looking to move off my employers lawn...
I'd like somewhere warmer to stay until my grand canyon permit in march.

I'll be commuting to issaquah a few days a week, so i'm thinking either seattle, north bend, or fall city.

I'm an educated and respectful person and a good communicator.
not opposed to living in a house full of dudes.

cheers,
Fiona

nvc - kudos to you for saying what everyone was thinking.
Dave - You don't have any rooms open, your house is already fully occupied!

I have a 4 bedroom house with one room not being used. I am very particular about who stays here though...Utah Sam was probably the best short time roommate ever...

what did dave's PM look like?

"Hi,  a little bit about me:  I boat the sh*t, well at least i know the folks that boat the sh*t.  I can point you in the right direction"

what i am looking for in a roommate, i am very picky:  I need a roommate who will be a companion.  maybe clean up after me a little bit here and there.  My current roommate, the original Dave, does a pretty good job at these things, but we could really use another hand with these types of things."

"Oh and if i ever say something is an "emergency", its really not, its just a way to get the attention of everyone in Washington state."

sorry dave, im still pist that every time you go boating you call it a f**king emergency.   i wonder what happens when you have to take a crap. do you call the fire department?

Actually, I do most of the cleaning. When I kayak, it is an emergency as I dont like to walk the shuttle.

Haha- clever enough!

But don't let NVC give you the wrong impression. Dave, aka D4, aka "Dangerous Dave", aka "the Buttered Gutter" may be goofy. He may ride a wheely on a motorcycle without a helmet, while wearing a full face helmet on the Middle Middle (although the latter has not been confirmed), but he is a nice enough guy.

Besides, living with some boaters in that neck of the woods can't be a bad thing. D1 is a good source of beta, plus rent'n in Rent'n puts you in pretty good striking distance of lots of great boating. And the Green's season is right around the corner!!

Living at D1 and D4's house is the Bomb! Both super chill dudes that are fun to hang with but also have their own programs going on. If you know and kayak with these guys sooner or later you'll most likely boat with everyone who kayaks in the Seattle area. D4 has a nice house and its big so plenty of places to chill and not get in each others way. Chill little area with all the necessities and the house is always super clean. I'd be wintering there but just bought a van so I'm gonna live in a van down by the river!!!
