Well, not as catchy a phrase as "ROBE WATCH 2012" but this isnt for the core crew anyway...just us mortal mid-core boaters...
Trying to get a run for Saturday morning around 11am meet at Paradise if the levels hold out at this 2,000 + or - 1,000cfs...if it spikes over 3k, I may not be interested...

Count me in as long as it stays in the 1-2k range.

Don't count on me for tomorrow, will decide in the morning but I'm more likely to shoot for Sunday and hope the water holds.

My sentiments exactly. Since tomorrow is St. Patty's...
And since the Green will at least be a pleasant medium low (1600), or even a pleasant low (1400)...

BrianP, you should strike while the Water is HOT!! SATURDAY!
Go to the Cedar on Sunday and get schooled on the roots of your sport.

Bump.

Damnit, here I was quietly enjoying St. Urhos day and I get called out for being lazy (and rightfully so, only a short time before my boating activities are cut off for a while)..so call me easy, but I'm convinced..I'll be there.

What an incredible day, thanks to all for making it out!

Hard to beat this, too:

A few of us eddied out in the gorge immediately above the paradise play spot and we were in a light rain, sun on our faces, emerald green water below, impressive rock walls cradling us, a rich mixture of skyscape, and sweet levels of play awaiting us just downstream.

So blessed to have been in that moment, cannot explain how wonderful it was.

Then we got hailed on hardcore as we were leaving the lot, perfect!

Yup. All current. No wood of note. Well, actually, you do gotta stay LEFT at Let's Make A Deal:

There's a big fat log perched in the crack between Stano Rock and the big House Rock behind it. This Big Ol Log is slumped into the current on R. Right, but totally duckable with much headroom in a raft on R. Left.

Stay Left.
