I have been storing a Wavesport Z at my house for someone for a number of years and they are cool with me getting rid of it.  Before I put it up for sale, I thought I would check and see if there are any clubs or other organizations that would have use for the boat.

Ideas?

I can deal with taking the boat or meeting up somewhere (live in Seattle).

UPS likes donated boats and they are having a last pool session party tomorrow night.

I know the Seattle chapter of Team River Runner (they help disabled vets learn to kayak) is always looking for new boats. I'll send you a number, Scott.

Dave is right, the UPS club would put a boat to good use and we would be happy to add it to our fleet, our final pool session of the is tonight and the donation would be met with burgers and beer of gratitude.

That being said, Team RR does some amazing work and should probably have first dibs! also summer is nearly upon us and there is nothing less reliable than a college student on summer vacation.

I haven't heard from TRR and still have the boat.  Anyone else know of a group (UPS?) or worthy individual that could make use of a Wavesport Z.  Its an older design, but still seems like a good boat to start out on (similar to my first boat).

UPS just had graduation and pool sessions are closed for the summer...  The Z is a perfect boat to learn in, on rivers and in the pool.  If you don't find someone to donate it to by sept, UPS would love to have it!

Scott - Thank you very much! - Scott dropped off a Wave Sport x and Dagger 88 to me today - they will be well used.
Either by TRR or UPS pool or another club or organization that can always use spare gear.
Cheers and thanks gain Scott!

Thanks back to Tobin for putting the time in for a great cause - donating a boat seemed like the least I could do.

If anyone has a river runner they want to donate Tobin said that they are short on boats.
