Raffle @ 7:00pm
Just as in years past we will be selling tickets for our raffle. A ton of gear is being donated and there will be plenty of great prizes to win. Just buy a ticket or two (or 10) and get some gear that weekend.

Auction @ 8:00pm
The Auction will be a free form bidding time where we will offer larger items up for sale. The highest bid takes the item on the count of 3.

Why Support?
As you know our community is pretty much a no-cost membership. This is designed to keep the community willing and able to support much more important causes and focuses. In the past we have raised almost $2000 for a local family in the community that suffered a terrible loss and this year we have our sights set on yet another friend of the community.

At the 2010 Ball all proceeds past the cost of the event will be donated to Matt Thomas. If you don't know Matt you should go visit this blog to get to know about him. Matt lived here in Seattle for a while and helped a lot of boaters get into the sport. He is one of those guys that has the ability to touch the lives of people right at the first conversation. He is an amazing friend to paddlers all over that we have the opportunity to give back to.  Feel free to donate directly or come out to the event to support him there. Below are a few more links that you can explore to see some of the things Matt loves.
