Carter--

just drive up HWY 2 from Gold Bar, cross the high bridge, pass Zeke's pizza. Split Rock is a few miles up from there, just upstream of a larger pullout on the left where the railroad bridge crosses the river. There's pull outs on both sides of the road. If you get up to where HWY crosses the river again, you've gone too far by a couple miles.

Basicly look for all of the cars and boats.

I think I'll be up there today. Contemplating going up there early, and then doing a second lap when the 2 o'clock crowd arrives.

What's the deal with the guage these days- anyone know? Is it still reading low? Is there gonna be more water in it than 900 cfs?
