Burnt ranch gorge is supposed to be a classic and it runs all summer. Although I have never done this stretch I have reliable beta saying that is is still fun down to 300 cfs. It is a class IV-V run located deep in a gorge so bring your a game but I hear everything can be scouted and portaged. I was trying to get on it a couple of weeks ago when I was in the area but I couldn't find anyone to go with me.

The trinity at Cedar Flats ( http://www.dreamflows.com/graphs/day.009.php) is now running at about 520CFS.

At these flows, the burnt ranch gorge run is "Low side of good", a bit pinny but everything goes.  Class IV+ - V with Number III still being a solid V

Great weather, long days, everything is scoutable and portagable

I just did my guide school on the Trinity with Redwoods and Rivers in June and started kayaking right after. I left on July 21st and it was getting low and on the Pigeon Point run Hell Hole was getting pretty big. There are some fun and fairly technical rapids on pigeon point but i haven't done the gorge.Beautiful river though, great people too.
