It cut my post. If the levels hold I want to do the upper and middle section if it stays above 1000 CFS, or just the middle section if it stays above 800. Skykomish is the back up plan.

See you there.

Assuming it is above 1500 and I can find people to carpool with, I'll be there. I might be a few minutes late, though.

I would have loved to have joined you all today but we have other plans outside of paddling.  Let me know the next time you run it.

I agree with Leif - Pilchuck is out for today.  It's good right now but dropping too fast.  I think I am going to head to the Sky.  I'll get a visual on CC stilly before I go and post up here before I go for anyone who wants it.

Me and Kevin are still gonna head up to run just the middle section.

Kyle are you still in for that or headed to the Sky?

The gauge for Pilchuck Creek has not updated since 6AM. It is going to be to low for even the middle section.

I got The CC Stilly Visual and it's way too big for me.  I normally run it at low/medium levels.

The water is about 2" over the center rock just above the 1st ledge.  The ledge hole is nasty  - if you are in it, it's a swim and a long one at that.  The drop just after the first ledge is split into 2 channels at lower levels but today is all one channel.  The rock that divides the channels has about 3 inches running over it.

If anyone decides to run it, make sure you have clean booties - I think there's a good chance you'll be drinking out of them.

Pilchuck was good to go today. It didn't drop off the charts. We did the middle run and it was at a decent med-low level. The only scrapey part was the right line at the falls.

There is one portage near the beginning of the run. After the first little class 3, there's a couple logs across. Easy portage. Rest of the run was relatively clean. There was wood, but everything was easy to get around or duck under.

What level was it at?  I have heard it needs 1500-2000 to be good class "IV".  Thoughts?
