This is in response to some frequently asked questions.

Alot of folks have asked ... How do I post YouTube video, or Vimeo etc...

Simple ... Here is the format. Plug and play with your own video code.

Must change $ to s

[fla$h height=325 width=425]video.link.must.be.to.video.not.web.page[/flash]

Here is a working example that can be seen below.

[fla$h height=325 width=425]http://www.youtube.com/v/jquXcwooV6A&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]

You Mean Like This??

You did a different thing wrong each time... Basically the two things that were listed above in the directions.

1. Change the $ to a S <- I had to change it to a $ so it would not run the code. That is why the first one did not work.

2. The second time it did not work because you linked to the Youtube page not the video. This is the video link found in the embed area of youtube:http://www.youtube.com/v/wwXlUa4qvjM&hl=en&fs=1

And this is the webpage link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwXlUa4qvjM which you used.

And for an example of the correct code.

[fla$h height=325 width=425]http://www.youtube.com/v/wwXlUa4qvjM&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]

(Remember the $ is just to keep it from running the code as seen below.

Copy this line and past it into your post. (make sure you have the Enable the WYSIWYG post editor checked yes in the forum preferences in your settings for your user)

replace $ with s. If i don't do that it will try to run the code. We had to put $ on this line you are copying so it wouldn't try to run the code on this tutorial.

The next thing you do is replace this line YOUTUBE VIDEO URL - NOT PAGE URL  with the line from youtube url area on youtube.

Example:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6JQFBuNkb0s&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6JQFBuNkb0s&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Copy and paste the highlighted line from your  youtube video. The one above is just an example, but that is the area of the url you would copy and paste from to the line we gave you above.

It looks like this when you are don but remember to replace the $ with s.

[fla$h width=425 height=344]http://www.youtube.com/v/6JQFBuNkb0s&hl=en&fs=1[/fla$h]

when you replace the $ with s it will run: See?
